All dogs participating in ABKC conformation events, must be able to provide registering staff with proof of current vaccinations including rabies vaccination provided by veterinarian.

Applications must be received 60 days prior to the show no later than 30 days. If received in less, then 60 days but before 30 days there is a $100.00 late fee to be included in Show fee.  All show applications turned in under 30 days will not be accepted.

If your show is NOT posted you need to contact a[email protected].  

Shows will not be posted until the fee is paid in full and the entire show packet is received by the office. The show fee is non refundable. The judges/rep agreements must be received 45 days prior to the event and insurance certificate 30 days prior to the event or the show will be taken off of the website.

Refunds for show fees will not be given if your show is canceled, we will give you credit to use for the next event that you book.

All shows must have an ABKC Rep at the show.

All first-time show host are limited to two shows per event.

Shows hosts reserve the right to refuse service/entrance at events they host.

The ABKC is not liable for any funds that the show host collects prior to, during or after an event that is booked, even if the event is cancelled by the host.

Europe and UK Shows – Shows hosted in same country must be two weeks apart. Shows hosted in different countries must be 1 week apart, unless they are over 3000 km then they can be held same day. No Europe or UK shows may be hosted 2 weeks prior to Euro Nationals.

USA Shows – No shows will be booked within a 350-mile radius the weekend before or weekend after an event, as well as the same weekend of an event. Shows may not be hosted in the same city within a 21-day period.

All indoor events and events with concrete floors must have a carpet or full carpet runners including a diagonal runner for the dogs in the ring.  The show ring floor whether indoor or outdoor may not be dirt, it must be concrete or level grass.

Event results must be emailed to [email protected]  within 5 days of the event.

Show hosts must display one (1) 5′ x 10′ ABKC banner and two (2) 8 x 2 1/2′ ring banners at show. Size may vary by no more than one (1) foot.

You will receive an email confirmation if your application was approved or denied. Once approved you will need to email the show banner/flyer to a[email protected]

Show Banner/Flyer – Dogs must be ABKC registered or fit the standard to be on the ABKC show banner/flyer. Non Sanctioned events may not be advertised on ABKC show banners/flyers.

Host must start the show with the ABKC Sanctioned classes first *all Females show before Males

NO OTHER REGISTRIES ARE TO BE AT ANY ABKC EVENT

NO PROMOTING OF OTHER REGISTRIES AT ABKC EVENTS unless approved by the ABKC. All dogs registering for the show must have an assigned ABKC to participate in the show.

There is to be no non sanctioned events/show at an sanctioned ABKC event.
