My name is Daniel Roberto Piñeiro, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. My profession is that of Veterinary Medicine, studying at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), receiving the degree in 1996. Currently practicing in the private sector, conducting Clinic and General Surgery of Small Animals, and specializing in Canine Reproduction, advising to several kennels of different breeds. A passion since I was a child was dog breeding, a passion that I continue to exercise, currently raising American Pitbull Terrier, Deutscher Jagdterrier, Miniature Pinscher, Fox Terrier Smooth, Dogo Argentino, Patterdale Terrier, Airedale Terrier.
In 2018 I was appointed ABKC Judge, having judged several exhibitions in my country and in other countries, such as Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Russia. Before the designation, I worked on the recognition of the American Pit Bull Terrier and American Bully breed by the FCA (Argentine Cynological Federation), a member entity of FCI, in the drafting and adaptation of the standards and in the registration and identification of the specimens. having judged the breeds in almost all my country, not only for FCA, but in shows and open rankings and ABKC Fun Shows, and currently being coordinator of Group 11 (breeds not officially recognized by FCI) at FCA. Both as a breeder and as a judge, I look for dogs in accordance with current standards, capable of meeting their functional objectives, both structurally and temperamentally, paying special attention to the virtues of the dogs, always more difficult to see than the defects. Seeing a dog of the massiveness that is sought in the American Bully, with the typical characteristics of the type and a good movement in the ring, is a pleasure with which the activity of judge honors me.
