Hello dear bully community, my name is Emma Linker.
I was born and raised under the warm sun of Aruba, surrounded by sea breeze, family, and of course dogs. In 2011, I moved to the Netherlands, but my Caribbean roots and my love for animals have always stayed close to my heart.
Back home, dogs were always part of my life. But about 11 years ago, I met my first American Bully, and it was love at first sight. Their strength, their loyalty, and their spirit spoke to me in a way no other breed ever had. Six years later, I welcomed another one, and that’s when the real journey began ,attending shows, getting more involved in the community, and even showing two dogs for a little while.
A close friend from the bully world, who’s become like family, gave me the opportunity to help out at one of her shows. That experience opened my eyes. It sparked something in me and made me curious about what it would be like to become an ABKC representative. I attend more shows and that little fire grew the more I learned and got involved. Eventually, I decided to pursue it and pushed forward to make it happen.
Now, as an official ABKC representative, I’m committed to giving back to help organize quality shows, bring people together, and most importantly, to educate others about the breed and raise awareness. I’ve had the chance to meet so many passionate people and have truly come to appreciate everything the ABKC represents.
